First thing, when you get home slightly cut the stems at an angle.
Repeat this step every other day when you give your flowers some fresh water.
Make sure to remove any leaves from flowers stems that will potentially contaminant the water, eliminating any unwanted bacteria or fungi. This way the inside of your vase or container will be less crowded. The more color and less green in your vase on a floral stem the better!
DON'T forget to replace the water every other day with some fresh water, you can even add ice! Flowers absolutely love ice and a cool atmosphere.
Remove any dead wilting petals, stems and or leaves.
